What is the DMCA?

Submitting a DMCA Notice

  3. Statement of Good Faith Belief:
    • State that you have a “good faith belief that the use of the aforementioned material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agents, or the law.”
  4. Contact Information:
    • Include your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address so we can reach you if necessary.
  5. Identify the Copyrighted Work:
    • Clearly identify the copyrighted work that you believe is being infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list of the works.
  6. Signature:
    • Sign the notice with either a physical signature (if submitted in paper form) or an electronic signature (if submitted digitally).

Sending the Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. To do so, please include the following information:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, along with its location on Wheon.co before it was removed.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or any other jurisdiction if you reside outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
